Create a New Website
Every website in Jtek starts from the Sites area. You choose whether to begin from a blank canvas or a ready-made template, then give the site a name to get into the editor.
- Open Sites in the left menu — From your Jtek dashboard, click Sites, then select the Websites tab at the top.
- Click "New Website" or "Create Website" — The button sits in the top-right corner of the Websites list.
- Pick a starting point — Choose Blank to build from scratch, or browse the template library and pick a layout that's close to what you want. Templates come pre-filled with sections you can swap out.
- Name your website — Give it a clear internal name (for example, "Main Brand Site" or "Buyer Landing Site") so you can find it later. You can rename it any time.
- Open the editor — Jtek drops you into the drag-and-drop builder with your first page ready to edit.

Tip: If you're new to the builder, start from a template that's close to your goal rather than a blank page. It's far faster to delete and edit sections you don't need than to build every section from nothing.

Edit Pages with Drag-and-Drop
The editor is built around three layers — sections, rows, and elements. You drag new pieces in from the side panel, then click anything on the canvas to edit it inline.
- Add a section — Click Add Section to drop in a new full-width block. Sections are the horizontal bands that stack down your page (hero, features, testimonials, footer, and so on).
- Drag elements onto the canvas — Open the elements panel and drag in text, images, buttons, forms, videos, and more. Drop them where you want and the builder snaps them into place.
- Edit text and images inline — Click any text block to type directly on the page. Click an image to upload a new one or pick from the media library. Use the settings panel to adjust colors, spacing, fonts, and links.
- Manage multiple pages — Use the Pages menu to add, rename, duplicate, or reorder pages (Home, About, Contact, and others). Each page has its own canvas but shares your site's header and footer.
- Preview as you go — Switch between desktop and mobile views to confirm everything looks right on smaller screens, and save your changes as you work.

Publish Your Site
When your pages are ready, publishing makes them live. You can launch instantly on a free Jtek subdomain, or connect your own custom domain for a fully branded address.
- Open the site's Settings — From the editor or the Websites list, go to the site Settings and find the Domain section.
- Publish to your Jtek subdomain — The fastest option is your built-in subdomain (for example, yourname.jtek.app). Set the path, save, and your site is live immediately — no DNS setup required.
- Or connect a custom domain — To use your own domain (like www.yourbrand.com), add it in the Domain settings and follow the DNS instructions Jtek provides. You'll add a record at your domain registrar to point it at Jtek.
- Assign pages to the domain — Map each page to its URL path so visitors land on the right page (Home at /, About at /about, and so on).
- Publish and verify — Click Publish, then open the live URL in a new tab to confirm the site loads correctly on both desktop and mobile.
Tip: Custom-domain DNS changes can take a little time to take effect. Publish to your Jtek subdomain first so the site is live right away, then point your custom domain at it once the records have propagated.
