Why calls get flagged and how to clear it.

1Why it happens#

  1. Carriers flag numbers that make lots of short calls in a row.
  2. A brand new number can also carry an old flag from its last owner.

2Quickest fix#

  1. If the number is new, swap it for a fresh one.
  2. Go to Settings, Phone System, then + Add Number and Add Phone Number.

3Register your number#

  1. Open the Trust Center tab in Phone System.
  2. Register for Voice Integrity to clear spam flags, and CNAM so your business name shows on calls.
  3. Both need a business tax ID (EIN). No EIN? Submit your number to the Free Caller Registry instead.
Flags usually clear within a few business days. Space out your calls in the meantime.
