Auto-reply to TikTok DMsNew

When a lead DMs you a keyword on TikTok, Jtek answers right away.

1Before you start#

  1. Connect TikTok in Settings, then Integrations, on the TikTok Messaging card.
  2. It works with TikTok business accounts registered in the US.

2Add the trigger#

  1. Go to Automation and click + Create workflow.
  2. Click Add new trigger and pick Customer Replied.
  3. Set Reply channel to TikTok, add Contains phrase with your keyword, like CORONA123, then click Save trigger.
Pick a word nobody says by accident. A common word like home would fire it in the middle of a normal chat.

3Send the reply#

  1. Click +, search tiktok and pick TikTok interactive messenger under Communication.
  2. Write your reply in the message box, like the link to the listing, then click Save action.

Example recipe
TikTok DMs are text only for now: no buttons, photos or templates. The person must have messaged you in the last 48 hours, which is always true when they just DMed your keyword.

4Tag it and publish#

  1. Click + and add a tag, like tiktok lead, so you can follow up later.
  2. Turn on Publish.
  3. Each person lands in Contacts, and the chat shows in Conversations.
